Use the official route that matches the Georgia record you need:
- Criminal histories and rap sheets: use the Georgia GBI and GCIC route for the appropriate public or personal check
- State prison status: use the Georgia Department of Corrections Find an Offender service
- Registry information: search the Georgia Sex Offender Registry or contact the registering county sheriff
- Court files: review Georgia criminal court cases, then contact the clerk that maintains the case
- Incident and police reports: contact the state or local law-enforcement agency that created the report
- County records: find the sheriff, jail, prosecutor, or clerk through the county directory

Call 404-244-2639 before visiting because the lobby does not offer same-day appointments.
